Founded in 2022, We are Community (WaC) is guided by a robust mission firmly rooted in our sincere commitment to communities and the intricate fabric of diversity seamlessly woven into the arts.

Our commitment extends to fostering community-powered initiatives that seamlessly weave together local and global spheres. We aspire not only to create memorable and enjoyable experiences but also to facilitate highly participatory endeavours, ensuring the inclusion and appreciation of every voice. Through the active promotion of equity and inclusivity, our objective is to bridge gaps and unite individuals in sociable and meaningful ways.

At the core of WaC are the cherished values of diversity, inclusion, and accessibility. Our team comprises a harmonious blend of empathetic listeners, adept communicators, meticulous researchers, skilled facilitators, and creative troubleshooters. The power of storytelling serves as our tool to empower communities and artists alike, enabling them to eloquently share their unique narratives.

Supported by a global network of partners spanning Europe, the UK, and beyond, we integrate their collective wisdom into our project conception and execution. Our partners, representing diverse corners of the world, include both prominent institutions and grassroots civil society groups.

We enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to unite people, fostering unexpected synergies and catalysing networks that reverberate with profound impact.
