E.G.T.C. AMPHICTYONY was founded in 2008 (as an evolution of the Mediterranean Twinned Cities Network, established in 1987). It is one of the first EGTC’s in Europe and focuses on fostering cross-border, interregional and transnational cooperation among Mediterranean and European local and regional authorities. AMPHICTYONY promotes sustainable economic, social and environmental development.

About Us

The Hellenic Foundation for Culture leads and coordinates the Greek National Network of the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures. The network’s co-lead is the civil non-profit organization “United Societies of Balkans,” which works together with the Foundation to achieve the network’s objectives.
