WHO WE ARE
"The Routes of the Olive Tree" is an international cultural organization that has functioned as a bridge between cultures since 1998, connecting more than 30 countries through the shared heritage of the olive tree. Recognised by UNESCO (2003) as an intercultural dialogue body and by the Council of Europe as a Cultural Route (2005-2025), the organisation has evolved into a dynamic innovation laboratory that combines cultural heritage with digital technology.

Our Mission
We highlight the olive tree as a global symbol of culture and peace, protect cultural heritage, promote intercultural dialogue and support the sustainable development of local communities through innovative technologies and participatory actions.

We envision transforming rural communities in the Mediterranean and the world into vibrant hubs of culture, innovation and sustainable development, with the olive tree as a catalyst for creating a global network of peace and cooperation.

The network’s co-lead is the civil non-profit organization “United Societies of Balkans,” which works together with the Foundation to achieve the network’s objectives.
