Erevnima, established in 2025, is an independent non-profit research organisation based in Piraeus, Greece. Its main goal is advancing knowledge in the social and political sciences sphere and empowering the research community. Its name is a creative synthesis of the Greek words for “research” and “thread”, reflecting the organisation's mission to act as a "guiding thread" by weaving complex societal challenges into clear, actionable insights. Erevnima’s activities are based on three pillars:
• Rigorous research and the dissemination of findings through academic conferences and journals,
• Training and capacity building through methodology workshops and seminars,
• Empowerment of the research community by working closely with academic research teams and civil society organisations.

The organisation focuses its work on four primary thematic areas, (a) international relations and politics, (b) security and conflict resolution, (c) media, communication and digital transformation, and, (d) society and culture. Erevnima is committed to rigorous, ethical, and inclusive research and strives to achieve this via innovative research design and knowledge generation. Besides research, the Erevnima team is experienced in project management, policy analysis, quality assurance, and grant proposal development. The team also develops educational resources, conducts training workshops, and has experience in event planning, awareness raising and dissemination.
